Meeting people through shared interests
A specific topic gives you both something to say before either of you has to invent an opening line.
Start with something you actually do
If you spent the weekend playing a rhythm game, put its name in your interests. A question about a favorite track is easier to answer than a request to describe yourself. Broader tags like music can help when a niche topic has few matches.
Give the other person a turn
Share one short detail, then ask a question with room for a story. “I tried learning that song on guitar. Which part was hardest for you?” gives a stranger two different ways into the conversation.
Leave room for a short chat
A good conversation can last two minutes. Thank the other person when you need to go. Keeping a chat on the platform also lets both people decide how much information to share.
