Before you connect
Choose a neutral camera background. Keep documents, screens, location clues and other people out of view. Text chat works without access to your camera or microphone.
During a conversation
Avoid sharing your address, school, workplace, passwords or payment details. If someone pressures you to move to another service, send money or open a link, disconnect.
Reporting a problem
During an active connection, select Report & block, choose a reason and submit it. ChatMee stores the reason, user identifiers and the last 20 text messages for review. The block applies to the reported user identifier across chats.
When you need help
Leave immediately if you feel unsafe. Contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger. The site owner can review submitted reports and suspend access through the moderation dashboard.
